Rose City Classic Dog Show

All week I’ve been looking forward to the Rose City Classic Dog Show and it was not a disappointment. There was a student art show featuring interpretations of Doggies in America, lots of lovely dogs and breeds I’ve never seen and dog people everywhere! This was my first dog show and I have so many questions. What are the people in the dog show putting in their mouths? I saw many people doing this in the ring. They pulled jerky or something out of a secret pouch but instead of feeding it to their dogs they would put in in their mouths. Anyone know what thats about? And another thing, it seems like there’s a strange uniform they have to wear: home-made church looking suits with orthopedic looking shoes. I didn’t understand it but it must be regulated attire because everyone was wearing the same thing.

Check out my blurry pics.

Hungry for Bluhd: Mixed Martial Arts

Last weekend I attended my first “MMA” match, it was my friend Darkness’ birthday and that was his birthday wish.  We were told to come in “Jersey Shore” themed clothing but when we arrived at the party it was only myself, Jarrett and Mrs. Darkness that got dressed up. No matter, we fit in fine. I bought a tattoo inspired t-shirt at Ross for $7.99. It’s super economical to dress like Jersey Shore.

At first I thought I would be afraid of the violence but I forgot that I actually love consensual violence so I got super into it.  My favorite cheers were “EAT HIS FACE!” or sometimes “YOU GUYS ARE IN LOVE!” that latter was because I never realized how very extremely homo-erotic MMA fighting is!  There are two shirtless men rolling around together and often times with their junk in each other’s faces. It was cute!

I love MMA  fighting!

Dear Sir,

Thank you in advance for creating my new wedding dress.  You knew what I wanted before I knew I wanted it myself. You crept into my subconscious, found my soul and interpreted it into your spring/summer collection. I’ll take your cutting room scraps. Please send a dress to me, I neeeeeeeed one.  I know you meant these for me!

Spotlight On: Ann Margret

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , on December 11, 2009 by andibelle

My first exposure to Ann Margret was when i rented the movie “Tommy: The Who” from my local public library. I was in 7th grade and I just liked the way the cover looked.  At the time the symbolism and deep seeded meaning was a bit over my head but the visuals, costumes and champagne baths excited the hell out of me!  Ann Margaret soon became an important style idol for me. Recently I looked up some images to see if she’s stood the test of time and good news- she does. See for yourself.

It’s not even a good story, I hit my head on a safe in a dark hotel room in New York City at 5:30 in the morning. It happens.  My first black eye!
